Immediate improvements can be seen with pigmented lesions such as age and sunspots, freckles, vascular lesions, small blood vessels on the face including spider veins and rosacea, improvement in skin texture and tone, and improvement in acne.

All areas of your body can be treated with BBL with little to no downtime. The most common areas are the face, neck, and chest. The hands, arms, legs, shoulders, and legs can also be treated.

A cooling gel is applied to the treated skin area. A chilled applicator is then placed on the skin to deliver light therapy. No anesthesia is required. Patients typically experience a mild warming sensation with mild tingling in the treated area. The procedures are very well tolerated.

Changes are seen with one treatment. For optimal results, a series of 3-4 treatments is ideal and will lead to best outcomes.

There is virtually no downtime or recovery time needed, and most patients can apply makeup immediately after the treatment.

Avoid going into direct sunlight for 2 weeks before and after BBL procedures. An effective sunscreen along with a Vitamin C topical  will be recommended by your provider.

The cost of BBL is impacted by the patient’s choice in area of treatment. Additionally, the number of treatments needed will affect the overall price.
